".. so turn around SLOWLY.."

 Last time i treated perspective poorly. This time i did some horrible things to the local color, so poor guy looks as if his face has been smeared with purple goo :/
Other than that he looks more or less like i wanted him too.

I tried several times.
Here's the least shitty, albeit still failed, attempt:

"You should have stopped as soon as you realized that i'm no fun to draw.."

"Uh.. Listen.. I might be here to help, so..."

Unfortunately it happened again- since i've liked so much, how the boogeyman killer (from October the 1st) turned out, i tried to make something at least as good. After failing to achieve that, i got scared of drawing in general =___=;

So all i wanted from this one was to have fun. Never mind the correct perspective, straight lines or anatomy.

Checklist:

•  fun vs stress factor: 8:2  CHECK!

Mission accomplished :)

Oh, i really really like this one! :D

• technical aspect 2: sort of simplistic color scheme.. ah well... works well enough LITTLE CHECK!
• finish: started details phase  CHECK!
• fun vs stress factor:  10:0  IT'S MAGIC!

I drew some details in. It's about 3h in total atm. There are still some parts that could use a bit of work, so i might come back to it later.

I rather like the outcome so far.

Uh..okay, so this not only took considerably more than 40 minutes, it's also not much better =__=;
I will have to try drawing something simpler.

Wow, yet another year is over and this place has amassed even more of the virtual dust..

Meanwhile i started being afraid of empty canvas. It just became tough to fill empty space from beginning to end using my imagination alone. It feels as if my left brain keeps nitpicking, criticizing and ridiculing.... (my left brain seems to be a bit of an ass...) 

But, putting whining and personification of body parts aside, i decided that, at the moment, continuing with mindless440 would be mighty beneficial.


I knew that the first few sketches were bound to be somewhat weak and steeled myself for it...

"One-legged hunter says: Welcome back!"

..but this hurts Q_Q my pride, my eyes, you name it.
